Week 1 - Digging and Filling!

Now - working on a building site with quick witted men with hairy bums and more milk for tea than a dairy isn't always going to be fun!  And im not going too lie - I can hardly whip out a digital camera every 30 minutes for a new photo to show what im doing with my summer!  Here im working hard - rain, shine, snow and hell ... gail force winds, were working, building these new houses for the lovely people of Ramsey! Below are a few pictures (that I could get) of what I was working on in my first week - drainage, a mini Tynwald Hill ... and more drainage!

Well thats all I could manage to get pictures of ... basically what was happening here is that the drain covers were loose in the grass so we had to dig down 50mm into the ground and fill an 800x800mm square of concrete to secure the covers and lips. fun.
